A Start of a New Season..............
And the Advent of...............................
SUPER DOODLE!!!!!!

The newest weapon in the fight against the Evil Empire.
Able to Bite the Leg of crooked umpires
Able to run down the long fly balls - although throwing them back in is a bit of a problem as of now

So what does it get you - I have no idea. The frigging World BaseBall Classic - otherwise know as the thing MLB does as a marketing campaign to prop up Baseball the world over and keep it from becoming an Olympic Sport has a number of teams including the Sox holding their breath.
The WBC is a much bigger deal to teams outside of the USA - and teams like the Sox who have a number of foreign players will be sweating it out. The biggest concern this year is none other than - you guessed it ....................................
EGG ROLL NUMERO UNO!!!!!
Yes the WBC is a BFD in the land of the Zero, and those rice eaters have a propensity to over do it. So it is not surprising that the Sox are sending 2 guys with the DICE MAN to make sure he doesn't mess himself up. Fortunately MLB who runs the WBC thinks they have said NFW to this concern by limiting the number of pitches a pitcher can throw through the tournament. It is still about 3 weeks ahead of where the Sox would have Dice K. So I suppose if the Egg Roll runs out of Soy Sauce in Aug - like he did last year in June we will know who to blame- we will be able to stick his dead arm up Selig's ass? Didn't think so. I am not exactly reassured that all participants in this thing will be under the same limitations. All that means to me is that everyone will now have an equal opportunity to mess up their seasons - Yeah!!!!!
Perhaps there is a Government Bailout where instead of Money they give MLB teams who's players get hurt - actual replacement players. So "To Make It Fair" if 2 Red Sox Pitchers get Hurt and No Yankee's Pitchers get hurt then the Red Sox would get one Yankee's pitcher of their choice? Because lets face it folks - while this Tampa Bay Rays thing was nice last year the Sox and Yankees are 2 big to fail. Which means that the rest of the league is too small to succeed - hey its the Amerikan way right? I digress - but I am fairly certain the competitors of AIG are still saying - what the hell was that?
